Where is there parking on campus?
There is metered parking in front of the Illini Union and on Wright St. There is also a pay-by-cash or credit card lot on between Sixth and Green Sts. On the corner of 6th and John Sts. there is also a parking garage with metered parking or PayByPhone parking. Phone numbers for the PayByPhone service are displayed on parking meters and signs. Where can I grab lunch or coffee? The following restaurants and cafes are available in the Illini Union: Illini Union Ballroom Location: second level, northeast With daily buffet lunches, the Ballroom serves as a more formal alternative to the fast-food vendors. Catering is available for special events. Crepe De Licious Location: Lower level, Food Court Breakfast, lunch and dessert crepes, burgers, Nathan’s hot dogs, fries, coffee tea & fountain drinks are on the menu. Einstein Bros Bagels Location: Lower level, Food Court Offers gourmet bagel sandwiches, wraps and salad, as well as healthy dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh-brewed coffee and hand-made smoothies. Espresso Royale Location: main level, Courtyard Café Specialty coffees, pastries, bagels, soups and sandwiches are on the menu. Jamba Juice Location: main level, southwest Healthy smoothies made with natural ingredients, fresh-squeezed juices, baked goods and yogurt blendsQuad ShopLocation: main level, southwest side The Quad Shop's convenient location makes it a great place for a quick stop before, after or between classes. Thirsty? Grab a cold drink – we have bottled and fountain drinks available. Hungry? Our huge selection of snacks will satisfy any craving – sweet or savory. The Illini Union Computer Lab, located on the main level, southwest corner, room 187, is equipped with both Mac and Windows platforms and laser printers. It's a great place to work on class assignments, surf the Internet or send email. Hours Sunday, noon - 12am Monday - Thursday, 8am - 12am Friday, 8am - 10pm Saturday, 10am - 10pm UI Public Wireless is the only campus network service available without either a NetID or a guest ID. The UI Public Wireless network is provided in a few campus and community locations where non-University-affiliated people are likely to visit. After filling out an informational form and agreeing to the terms of service, you can use the UI Public Wireless service for a short time. |
